Just crush up a taco
It’s the same thing
Everything is made up of some combination of 4 out of 7 different ingredients.

Decades upon decades ago, I had a job manning the fry station at a Taco Bell.
While I was there, Pepsico stepped in and changed a lot of things. We used to pressure cook our dried beans in lard from scratch, then literally drill them. They were absolutely delicious. The meat was raw and cooked by hand. Once Pepsi took over, the meat arrived cooked in bags which was dropped in water to heat and the beans were powdered which were simply reconstituted.
The taco salad shells were a bitch to make. You had to have an experienced fry person who knew exactly where to place the (wand...don't know the name of it) into each shell as it was pushed into the deep fryer, which could only be made one at a time, which took a minute to fry. Then, they had to be pulled from the oil at the perfect time for the perfect crisp, drained/rested, and then storing it correctly was another issue. If ANYTHING went wrong in that entire process including merely a chip in the shell, it couldn't be sold, and trust me, there was a lot of waste. Perhaps Pepsi got wise to eliminating waste and wasted worker hours, storage space too...those things took up a lot of space, and you couldn't really stack them. If that's the case, I don't blame them. I'm not sure if that's why they discontinued, but it makes sense from that vantage point.

It's beans, cheese, tortillas, salsa, beef/chicken, sauces, and salad stuff. Combine it in some form and call it something different. Wrap it up with sauce on top, burrito. Layer the meat and cheese inside two tortillas and its a quesadilla. Fold the tortilla and fry it, taco.
