There’s a website now called www.tipitforward.co with a listing of people who work in the BR service industry (bartenders, waiters, cooks, etc.). It has their Venmo information so people can send them tips while so many of them are out of work or working on reduced schedules and tips.

How do we know they are actually service industry?

I mean I’m all for helping someone when down but that just seems like a terrible idea

Why is that a terrible idea? If you go to these places you recognize their names and can send them money if you want.

I guess it’s not a horrible idea, but I’m just choosing to still go get to go food from my normal bar and grill places or restaurants and tipping extra in cash

I’m all for getting some to go orders and leaving a much larger tip than normal and feel bad that these people are having some hard times. I’m not going to just Venmo strangers money because they lost their jobs
