First batch was
4 eggs, 1/2 cup of milk, whisked thoroughly, with shallots, Swiss and cheddar.

Second batch we added bacon to all of them and shallots and the cheese to 4 of them.

Device, Ninja Foodi

Do they taste better than regular eggs with the ingredients whisked in and scrambled?

The taste isn't better one way or the other in my experience, but a lot of people like to prep these ahead of time for workday breakfasts since they're grab-and-go.

I believe it is originally a copycat recipe of an item at Starbucks since they overcharge the hell out of you there.

More of a quiche texture. You can make these in advance and then eat them the next few days

First time doing them, very impressed with texture and taste.

Next ones will have spinach in them too.

This is close to what this mornings looked like when you cut them in half.

I had the Starbucks egg bites for the first time when traveling last week and was pleasantly surprised. Wonder if I can adapt to a baked version.

Only two ways I have seen are sous vide and a pressure cooker, which is the function I used on the Ninja.

There's baked versions online.

I just bought these:

Ball 4oz Mason Jars

Gonna try out this. They'd be pastuerized so would be good for a quick breakfast. Not sure how best to reheat.

I have 8 oz flat canning jars. I make coddled eggs all the time, I guess I could try scrambling first and reheating.
