Best place? More concerned with atmosphere than food.

if more atmosphere than food, Court of Two Sisters on Royal. Muriel is excellent if they are still doing one also Ritz and Windsor Court. Just say no to Brennans. For the latest info ask a concierege at one of the hotels like Monteleon, Royal Orleans or Ritz.

I kind of like the Palace Cafe or Commanders for brunch. Jazz trio, etc.

I'm not a NOLA expert, but Arnaud's is definitely top notch.
