IT seems street cocktails are becoming the new thing across the country. I saw a story on vice about a guy in NYC who seems to be doing quite well in this illegal endeavor.
About a month ago I was at a local, br, pop up and ran across a booth selling their brand of street cocktails. Homemade cocktails sold in various states, sealed containers or in cups. No liquor license, no license to manufacture or distribute. Just a simple label with a company logo on it, nothing more. I admire the hustle but dispise the illegal aspect. Being a licensed bartender doesn't cover making or selling these. I have to admit the Henny Lemonade was quite refreshing. I don't know why more restaurants don't do this. I love the mexican restaurants that have a fresh margarita cart outside while you wait for a table. Or a BBQ joint with beer coolers in line while you wait.
