I can’t get past the name and the fact that it’s in a hotel. I’m curious though.

I stayed there and popped in for happy hour, which has $1 oysters raw or charboriled. They also had a few other happy hour apps. Oysters both ways were good. I didn't care for the bloody mary, tasted like it had a ton of chili powder in the mix. I'll go back in the future and order a different drink.

The original one on 30a is really good, not sure where you're talking about.

Marriot on corporate. They've renovated the whole thing recently. It's our go to hotel in town now.

Been to both, the original on 30A and the one here in the Marriott. The one here doesn't have the ambience of the original and I thought it was generally overpriced. If they were going to keep the name, they should at least make an effort to make it look like a fish camp instead of your typical generic hotel dining room.
What we had to eat was okay, but nothing special. I forget what we ordered, but I remember the appetizer was good, but the entrees were so-so. The food was good enough that I would probably give them another shot. I always give a restaurant at least two chances. Everyone can have an off night. But by the lack of traffic while we were there, a Saturday about 7pm, I don't see them staying open very long.
