It finally opened last Friday. Went on opening night thinking they had opened Tuesday. It was slammed and has been all week. Highly recommend going once the crowds settle down a bit.

Menu is in this Todd Price puff piece:
Station 6 Opens

Really enjoyed it and shockingly the kitchen was all systems go on opening night despite a crazy rush. They were firing off dishes quickly without mistakes. Front of house was still getting its shite together as to be expected, but everything went pretty smooth.

We had most of the apps and all were great. The cracked cra b stew is good - very gumboish though. The suateed snapper was a hit. The blackened drum was well prepared, but would have liked a bit more contrast in flavor in the accompanying sauce. Seared swordfish was polarizing though I really enjoyed it. I think composition was just a bit too acidic for some.

Very nice seafood focused menu different than what is available anywhere in the Lakeview/Metairie area. The dining outside will be nice when the weather cools too. Great addition, expect them to do very well there.

That's good to hear. I've def noticed how crowded they have been in the few evenings I've driven past

Looks like a great addition, and can't wait to try it. Will do so in a few months.

Price points seem high to me, am I the only one that thinks this? Maybe the the days of eating good and cheap seafood in Bucktown are over. Thoughts?

Yeah, it's higher than the fry seafood houses, but you kind of get what you pay for. Hell, have you seen the kind of people generally eating at Deanies? "give me piles of food at a cheap price dammit!"

There are only two Metairie restaurants that bother me as being priced way out of the box and they are The Galley and Legacy Kitchen.
