quote:
Amchoor or aamchur, also referred to as mango powder, is a fruity spice powder made from dried unripe green mangoes and is used as a citrusy seasoning. It is produced in India, and is used to flavor foods and add the nutritional benefits of mangoes when the fresh fruit is out of season.

I'll be out of commission for most of this one. You guys have fun getting creative with this unique ingredient.

Probably would have more participation if the spices weren't so far out there.
Do you work for Red Stick Spice? Would make sense with these recommendations.

All of these spices came from a dozen or so people who wanted to experiment with them. I only selected a few. We had a string of somewhat exotic ones in the beginning - should get a bit more normal from here on. I do not work for Red Stick Spice Co but would love to when I grow up Very cool store.

I'm sorry I haven't been participating. Since I suggested this one, I will make something, but not until after the 17th, when I my work schedule will allow it.
Padma Lakshmi recommended this spice as one of her favorites, btw.
