Yes to Anova. . Did the pastrami using a brisket and came out great. I also made the Frankencooler using a Coleman stacker for large cuts of meat and for evaporation control on long cooks :

Got on here to start a thread about this since I’m about to order one for my parents for Christmas (and so I can be a scumbag and invite myself to use it).

Did yall order the suggested container and bags with on Amazon? Or should I should I order different ones than these?

I have the food grade container and it’s perfect for short cooks. I use my vacuum sealer for bagging, mostly, and have used ziplocs in a pinch. I don’t know how I feel about reusable bags mainly for the PITA associated with having to clean them. My advice, skip the latter.

I'm considering the same container. Read a lot of people praise these balls (instead of a lid) to prevent evaporation and help with heat retention. The good thing about the balls is you can use them for any shape container.

I’ve read ping pong balls work just as well.

Cannot confirm, but I've seen and read the same.

Been doing research. The WiFi version seems to be crap.
