Just saw an add for this. Countertop pizza cooker. I’ve got friends who like the fire pit.

Anyone have one? Thoughts?

I have the solo pi. I did not buy the gas attachment, yet. We have enjoyed using the wood chunks. I do like it and the solo design seems to be very efficient. I feel like the gas attachment or even the new model with the gas controls on the front would be super convenient. It cooks very well. We did have an issue with the deflector/guard in the back of the stove behind the stone coming off. After 5-6 cooks where we usually make anywhere between 5-10 pizzas each cook I was a little too aggressive with the launch and broke it. Solo was awesome about it and sent out a whole new oven. I ordered the solo stand and cover as well and a bunch of accessories. Use semolina on the peels, use bamboo peels to launch, buy a turner (ours is an ooni turner), Whole Foods dough balls are super easy, I can get 2-3 pizzas out of each dough ball. Use quality ingredients. We have a good time having pizza night and I can 100 percent say the pizzas are as good or better than any pizza straight out of Naples.

I've actually got a Pizzello that I am very happy with. Had it for about a year. I would treat any of your options like you would a grill. No matter how expensive and "nice" they are, you will still have to learn them, good temp, the hot spots, placement, etc. The Pizzello was a fraction of a price of the others and came with a gas burner as well as an additional wood fired attachment and also came with a table and other equipment.
