So my oven was off when I wok up this am

Have a 12 lb brisket in there and it was off when I got up little while ago.
Put meat In there a 9pm.
House smells like delicious cow meat but have no clue when it shut off.

Anybody else have this happen on know what made it go off?
Elec didn't blink and timer wasn't on.

Do you think it has a maximum cook time limit to guard against someone forgetting it’s on? Bummer

Just put a mest thermometer in to see if you are at temp.
Hopefully your oven didn't do a cleaning cycle...I guess you'd smell burning...

Shut off after 6 hours
So it'll be ready for lunch.
10.5 hours is what I cook mine at.
Told kids Santa prob did it.
