If you're ever constipated, go here. Their smoothies give me diarrhea pretty much every time I go.

Anybody else have that problem?

Too sweet for me and no low carb options. Although, there was a thread a while back stating that they were revamping their menu with less sweet and more protein options.

They're just removing all added sugars, but they'll still be relatively high in sugar. How they tout themselves as a healthy alternative is almost irresponsible

Yeah even with the revamped menu most of the night protein ones that are worth a shite still have a ton of carbs.

There’s a lot of nonalcoholic drink shops popping up lately.. and all with drinks that are more calories, sugar, and carbs than a meal. The whole boba tea craze.. but also these “juice” shops.

Looked at the menu for some new one by me called Main Squeeze and many of the drinks are like 500+ calories.

You might have a fructose intolerance. Much of the sugar in SK smoothies is fruit derived. Look up fructose intolerance and see if it reflects your issues.

There are lower carb options, but you need to study the menu. I usually get a Gladiator with add-ins like cold brew, spinach, almonds, or raspberries (strawberries are still soaked in sugar). Of course you can make healthier and cheaper smoothies at home, but SK can be a good option if you order correctly.

Fruits have sugar boss. Added sugar is the culprit as it causes your blood levels to spike in a different way than naturally derived sugar. Look it up. Smoothie King has come a long way in the last five years. All their Smoothies are gluten free, have zero trans fat, and soon no added sugar in many.

Gladiator is the way to go. I get it with raspberries and Greek Yogurt only 14 carbs in a 20oz, 45G Of Protein.

Just means you need to add more fiber to your diet.

It's been years since I've been to a SK. But when I went I got a 'low carb chocolate'
It was separate from a Gladiator. It tasted better than a Gladiator to me. They got rid of low carb and replaced it with Gladiator and I stopped going. Used to hit up $5 Sundays all the time

Plus the low carb was 4-5 grams of carbs and the Gladiator was close to 15-17
