Decided to fire up the tried and true PBC yesterday...

Turned out great in traditional PBC fashion!

How'd it taste? IWII but it looks a little over cooked. What was the final temp when you pulled it?

Might just be bad pictures, but I pulled it at 203 in top flat...

Probably the best $200 I've ever spent

I cook in my PBC about four or five times every month. I believe you'll be pleasantly surprised at the results of your cooks.

You have made me very interested in the PBC. It is $299 now on Amazon. Do you have to load charcoals while cooking or does the initial fill last long enough to cook majority of meats? Is clean up pretty easy?

I've had coals last 8-10 hours without having to refill the basket. Cooked large briskets and large turkeys with zero coal issues. Clean up is easy. You can buy an attachable pan that their website sells. It attaches to the bottom of your coal basket. When you pick up the basket after a cook, the pan comes up also taking out the used coal. Or, what a lot of people do, just put a pizza pan at the bottom of the coal basket and empty it after the cook.

The initial load lasts for 10-12 hour cooks.

All you have to do is dump the ashes after they cool down.

My first cook. St Louis style ribs. Really enjoyed cooking on this cooker. Super easy and super tasty. Glad I purchased
