Slow Cooker Toast
4 slices bread
butter (optional)
Put slice on bottom of crockpot. You can put more if they will lay flat on the bottom.
Cook on WARM for 90 minutes, flip, then 30 minutes on LOW. Repeat until all 4 slices are brown.

Could you add a little cinnamon sugar or will that ruin the dish?

I sous vide and reverse sear with a toaster.

I use the Paul Prudhomme method - hot and fast, using a toaster. Works fine for me.
I do like cinamon toast made under the broiler, with butter, cinnamon and sugar. I'll look up the recipe and share it when I have time.
