first time ever to not use paper liners and not have whatever I make stick to the pan...
I made egg bites and they did not stick. Is this the norm for the silicone pans? Tell me your experience.

Not the norm for me. I find that eggs seem to pop out just fine, but sticky baked goods like blueberry muffins do not release uniformly.

Sidebar: really grinds my gears that Walmart stopped selling the 70 cent jiffy blueberry muffin mix.

I spray with canola to make sure they pop out.

I sprayed the silicone also. Spraying the metal pans never worked for me previously so I am hopeful on this.

We use these.

They are silicone. We have maybe 30 of them. Sprayed with a little Pam, they work fine. Also brushed with melted butter.
