Coming into town this afternoon from Dallas for the Garth Brooks concert at the century link center. Don't want Mexican but looking for a decent place for an early dinner around 4:45 or so. Suggestions?

Bodacious BBQ is next to century link and pretty good.

Silver star steakhouse is top notch

Rollin in the dough for a poboy or burger

Don't get the hate for this place and the love for silver star. Ralphs is way under rated and the star is way over rated.

I like ralphs and silverstar, if I want a steak it's silverstar if I as some redfish smothered it's ralphs... ralphs isn't bad but it's not the best seafood. Best seafood in bossier bar none

Ended up short on time so we went to Walk-Ons and sorry we did.

Good crowd when we got there--hostesses took my phone number and said 10 minutes. Seats at the bar opened up and hostesses called for a party of two for five minutes and that party never showed. I said--"if you're not going to sit us, we will just sit here at the bar."

They promptly sat us as we were next. While waiting for hostess to get menus and walk us to the table, we got to watch her stick her fingers in her nose and adjust her nose ring--this fired my wife up a bit and she told the manager. Manager addressed this with the hostess...

We ordered drinks--double titos and Sprite and a Pino Grigio. Also ordered spinach artichoke dip--came out quickly and was hot and good.

Wife ordered the Cajun quesadillas and I asked for a recommendation between the bacon wrapped shrimp with corn grits and the blackened chicken sandwich. Waitress said bacon wrapped shrimp were awesome but she recommended subbing fries for the grits.

I went with her recommendation and it was laughable. Six 25-30 count shrimp wrapped with bacon and flash fried. It was honestly a joke. I took a picture of it and planned on posting it. There were about 15 waffle fries in a basket thing they serve their fries in.

Lesson learned--this dish is marked as one of their top sellers. I will skip Walk-Ons in all of their markets after this experience.

Well wife had to stop three times for the damn bathroom (she was enjoying a roadie) and that put us behind on time so went to Walk-Ons. Never again.

If you read above it clearly states that we were short on time. Thanks for your input. I knew where walk ons is located and I figured they could get us in and out quickly, which they did. Food was disappointing. Next time I'll hit Noble Savage. Thanks again!

Main negative to NS, if you don't like cigarette smoke, stay out. Not sure how, but you can smoke inside there. Also, may be wrong, but don't think people under 21, or maybe 18 are allowed. Awesome food, usually have a small band playing also.
