Shredded cabbage instead of lettuce on sandwiches, tacos, etc.

Do it.
Seriously.
It's amazing. So far I've done it on tacos (I think this is actually how it's "really" done), chicken sandwiches, and burgers. Much crisper, more flavor, and just all around awesome.

Yeah I had this on my taco's today from taco de paco. Pulled port, hoisin sauce, and some pickled cabbage and carrots. Good stuff.

I've always done it on roast beef poboys
ETA: also use purple cabbage on fish tacos

It's amazing.
Mother's in New Orleans uses it instead of lettuce. Many people do seem to like it.

Tried it on tacos in AZ years ago. Use it all the time now. Great on roast beast poboys.

Much better than the typical Sysco ice berg packaged crap. I like crispy.

Its a Southern Mexico thing. Mostly from the Spanish. Very good.

Had it on some tacos this past weekend in the Grove for the first time and it was the shite. Also, I like spinach instead of lettuce on tacos and sandwiches...

Yep, I will be at Burks for sure. Maybe Miller Point.

I know several people that used to be members there. Hear some great stories about it...

I much prefer shredded cabbage on poboys and sandwiches. I haven't used it on tacos, but I will. I like the extra crunchiness.

Burks is on another level.

Really? Where is Burks in comparison to Miller? South or North?
I know a lot of people who are members at Caulk Island down near Greenville. It's owned by the owner of Dunlap and Kyle/Gateway tires. It's unbelievable down there. I'll try and post some pics of the new main cabin they just built sometime on the OD board. Freaking amazing and they kill some monsters every year. Something different about hunting on the river
