I have a couple pallets of extra bricks I'm trying to find something to do with. Anyone ever built their own pizza oven / smoker, etc?

You should if you plan on never moving. I'll send a link when I get back home to a guy who built a 2 tiered brick oven so he could cook pizza or grill/ bbq. I think he posted the plans but if not, it had all the steps and materials

The link I was looking for is long gone. Here's one similar, the fire pit was a bit bigger on the one I was thinking of.

You will need firebricks or some sort of liner. The extra bricks can be used for the veneer.

They look cool as hell, but the people who have them don't seem to use it very often. I know it takes hours to get it us to working temperature.
