Nice, I remember asking for kolaches in Shreveport once and they had no idea what I was talking about. I got back to Texas as soon as I could

They're gone baby gone.

Had the glazed with the cream and a chocolate glazed. They were very tasty. I'd say they lived up to the hype. Definitely will be the new stop when I'm craving them.

Baker's Dozen on Jefferson was my go to before. These exceeded those.

Shipley’s kolaches aren’t the best, kolache kitchen in br is even better.

It's Earl's sausage, right? It's just not very good.

I am going to drop by tomorrow after I drop the kiddo off from school and check it out.

Looks like they are near the corner of Labarre and Metairie Rd.

I was going to say something similar but decided not to crap on OP's excitement. I would have loved to have them so far from home. We have it good in the Food Capital of the world known as Houston.

Shipleys sucks. They don't have good donuts or kolaches.

Yeah the little mom and pop shops that every neighborhood has blows Shipley’s kolaches out of the water. It’s kike a damn hot dog bun at Shipley’s. I rarely get donuts so can’t comment on that.
