Made some changes to the smoker and doing a test run before its time to load it up for Christmas. Was surprised brisket prices have dropped at Costco the past couple months. And anytime the smoker is lit might as well add some pork.

These were $3.79/lb if I remember right. Maybe $3.69.

A light color smoker? My black one looks dirty enough! Nice setup though. I'm off briskets. I'm all about that chuck roast - easier, faster, tastes better.

It’s not that bad. I wipe the outside down and clean it once a month. I’m not really a brisket fan either, but people that don’t cook often idolize the mythical brisket.

Are there handles on those doors? Who built that smoker?

The doors have handles. It was built by Backline Smokers in Austin.
