I love how this mostly happens to Mexican restaurants.

Maybe this only happens to restaurants named for alcoholic beverages (see Sake Cafe in BR)?

We went to the soft opening they had on Friday night - the food was all really good and the remodel they did on the place came out really well - dark wood and cool fixtures. My only complaint is that the rice needed an extra cilantro kick. The brisket burrito appetizer is ridiculously good. I got the fajitas and the bf got the Havana sandwich - both really good. While they don't have their liquor license yet (although I think they were supposed to get it yesterday?) you could BYO anything and they'd keep it in ice behind the bar.
ETA: I could have eaten a vat of the flan

CIA Hyde Park head chef..I'm definitely gonna try this place.
But, BR needs fewer places with "bar and grill" in-tow to their names, even if that accurately describes them.
