Sammy’s is turning into Drusilla before our eyes. When the boomers finally die out the Gen X nostalgia morons will keep it afloat. Sysco garbage.

I think the Sammy's in Central closed before Covid. The food was always awful and overpriced. I was generally forced to eat there, and more often than not, pay the bill. The building was great but now in disrepair. Something needs to happen with it, tear it down and turn it into a four-plex with multiple options?
Southside Produce could buy the whole thing, raze it, and make a killing. It's 1000 ft away from CHS and the Big Walmart. I just want a fruit stand in Central, who's in?

Ate there last week. Food was cold, service was slow, not good.

You’re a few years too late. It was sold in 2023 and has been undergoing a renovation for quite a while to become a yet-to-be named restaurant. Purchased by Ichiban owners family.
