Run of the mill sushi and sashimi... and wife's shrimp tempura was too crusty...
BUT
the place is PACKED with beautiful young people...
WAIT
I THINK the place is packed with beautiful young people... it's so annoyingly dark in there I couldn't read the menu. What don't they want me to stare at?

I don't understand why people waste money there when there are much better sushi places in town that are cheaper.

It was our first time there... we've driven past it so many times that we thought we'd see what's inside.
I prefer Sushi Brothers on St. Charles... which itself is kinda hip but bright and fun. We won't be going back to Sake Cafe... we're just not dark booth sushi types.

The one in BR sucks hog balls nightly.

I can't imagine them lasting much longer. Looked dead the last few times I passed there at night.

Sushi Brothers is good. I like Hana in Riverbend as well.

I am sure there are meds for that.

Sushi Brothers is much better as already stated. I have been to the Sake in Kenner multiple times but only because it is the only sushi nearby, and it is just decent.
