I have been twice, and have been impressed both times. The samosas for an app are great. For entree the scallops, shrimp dish and chicken tikka masala are great also. Portions are ok - if family style, plan for 1 entree per person. The garlic naan is amazing. The kulfi and gulab jamun are good desserts. As I'm Indian, it's hard for me to get excited about restaurant Indian food, but this place puts a great NOLA twist on Indian cuisine.

Reservations have been made two weeks ago. It was supposed to be a surprise for my SO but they guessed it.
I was looking at their menu and was intrigued by the scallops but afraid it would only be like 3 scallops on the plate.

It's really funny, but I've barely heard of the place until recently. I've been looking for a really good Indian cuisine option, and I definitely want to try it out. I assume you have to make reservations well in advance if it's only open one night a week.
