This may be a F&DB first, I can't recall anyone asking for Ruby Tuesdays recipes. Not to mention, I didn't know anyone actually ate there.

The description from the company website seems to indicate it's just an Alfredo Sauce with mushrooms and peppercorns added.

Never heard of Steak au Poivre, huh?

Which is not served with an alfredo based sauce.

Kitty gumbo, now that is something I can get many strays to voluteer for and according to an Italian chef it tastes like chicken. Hey isn't there a guy named Chicken around these parts.

Sure haven't. Not a big fan of thick sauces for steak. Mansur's had a bordelaise for their filets, which was a good brown sauce, but I still preferred a clean steak. When I heard about the Alfredo white cream sauce, it just made me shake my head.

I thought Steak au Poivre was traditionally served with a cognac cream sauce

Ruby Tuesday is actually ok now. Turkey burger is very good. It's definitely the best of TGI Fridays/Chilis type restaurants, and without all the stupid crap on the walls. If you haven't been to one in a while, you might try again, seems to have really changed IMO. Not saying it's going to win any awards, but I've been there twice in the last 2 months and was pleasantly surprised.

I went within the past year when they were promoting their new brunch items, and it was as horrible as ever.
