Some friends recommended this place for breakfast. Anyone know if there is free parking around there? We are coming from the Hilton on S Peters.

Help him out or move on to the OT. Unless Ruby Slipper is a strip joint that has an excellent breakfast buffet.

Is walking out of the question? Not trying to be a dick, but it can't be more than a mile. Finding free parking downtown can be a tall order.

Not out of the question, no. We were just trying to estimate our time since we are going to the game and not too familiar with the logistics.

OP drive around until to you find a parking spot within walking distance. Don't look for any free parking lots.

Im staying at the Best Western next door. They have parking on Magazine rigjt now but I dont know how its going to be in the AM. Its not a bad walk. Thats what I would do. We going to stay here and walk to the dome tomorrow AM.

If it wasn't cold it wouldn't even be a big deal. I would even walk to the dome from there if not freezing outside. Do it all the time.

Eta: I parked easily on Fulton last Sunday, but it was an away game.
