I bought some on sale from Rouses a few months ago for near that price and should have left them in the store. Most of them looked like pigeon wings, many were mangled and a lot of them had a good bit of feather material still on them.

They'd make decent crab bait, but go to Costco and get their 10 lb. bag of frozen wings------they are real nice size, clean, already cut and ready to defrost and fry.

Oh, and they are $2.99 a lb.

These look great. But I’m so happy to hear about your Costco wings.

There was a few stores that had Hillshire Farms sausage on sale 2 for $5.. That's a good price.. I just like it at breakfast with some toast.. There was/is something not right with the sausage.. It didn't taste like normal and I got the shits after.. I think we are going to see a lot of this happen with the supply chain issues...

Wings have dropped down to the lowest they’ve been since before covid. But the prices haven’t been seen in stores or restaurants yet.

I ordered some whole jumbo wings direct from the processor for $1.20 last week. Another poster said provision companies have them for half the price.

Turkey prices are expected to skyrocket for thanksgiving. Buy a turkey now or wait and see if grocers have them on sale. I’m sure they will despite the large price jump. Grocers practically give them away to get you in the store for thanksgiving. What you’ll need to watch is supply, making sure you get your turkey early.
