Rogers cook book spin off

I would love to have a cook book like his or something very similar for sure. Like many i want someones grandparents or great grand parents recipes not some tv chefs stuff.. Not saying the tv chefs food wouldnt be good i just want that comfort/home feeling food . Any recommendations for a book out there such as this?

Search out for telephone Pioneer cookbooks.
Telephone Pioneers Cookbooks
The recopies are from employees and not test kitchens.
Most states have a Pioneer chapter that has its own book. Most of the older ones are huge.
Coincidentally I just picked up the latest Louisiana chapter book "Pots, Pans and Pioneers V" yesterday.

I used to go to a lot of garage sales. I mean A LOT - sometimes over 30 per Saturday. I was obsessed. This fed into my hobby of cookbook collecting. At it's peak, my collection contained several thousand books.
One day at a yard sale, I picked up another routine community cookbook. As I looked through it, it seemed like these were my mom's recipes. I looked to see the name and it was "Pirate's Pantry" from the Junior League of Lake Charles. It made sense that the recipes looked familiar, because my mom grew up in Welsh, LA, about 20 miles from Lake Charles.
This is the book that first came to my mind when I saw your post. Of course I bought it that day. I'd recommend it wholeheartedly.
