I went that one time and never went back, we had a 50% off coupon. Was hoping for a decent sushi joint on this side of town. Sushi Yamanuha recently opened up in hammond aire and it is very good but zero atmosphere.

I've been a couple times. They have decent coupons and specials some times. The food isn't authentic sushi, but it's pretty tasty. They specialize largely in fried rolls with lots of mayo-based sauces and sweet/spicy flavor profiles. When I've been, the rolls I've ordered have been tasty, I haven't left hungry, and found the service quick, attentive, and polite. Authentic sushi, it's not, but it's still pretty tasty. I would never choose it over Sushi Masa, though.

It is rumored that Heberts Specialty Meats from Maurice is supposed to go into that location.

Man, that is on my way home from work. A good Cajun meat market there would make me very much happy.
