If you like Mexican food, this place is great.

Lindo Michoacan

Lindo Michoacan Mexican Restaurants, voted "The Best of Las Vegas" six years in a row! Las Vegas Review Journal Poll

Their carnitas and their Michoacan sauces are incredible and unique.

Lindo has such massive menus, portions, lunch specials and multiple locations..Las Vegans are loyal to it despite the onslaught of taquerias.

I used to love Dona Marias Tamales too, but had a bland experience last summer with a few friends.

Pink Taco is good too.

We ate at Olives outside of the Bellagio. It was pricey but it was awesome!

Buffet, I prefer Bellagio over Wynn, especially for dinner instead of lunch, better prime rib and meats. Both are pricey, for a bargain, check out Spice Market buffet at Planet Hollywood, it was great when under Harrah's/Alladin rule, has a Crepe Grill, Greek/Lebanese. Also Rio's World Buffet.

Sushi. Nobu, Tao, Okada.

Local Fare-
-Andre's(French Continental..now in a few elite hotels too)
-Lotus Of Siam(seedy strip mall..but great Thai..lunch buffet a fab bargain..order at night from the Northern menu)
-Tillerman seafood(not as good as former owners but still solid)
-Mimmo Ferraro's(world class old school Italian..pricey)
-Chicago Joe's(old school Italian in a Mosca's setting downtown..very affordable)
-Rosemary's(Chef Jordan..former Nawlins resume..French/American..great)
-Ping Pang Pong(Chinese..in Gold Coast hotel..dim sum..ala carte menu..Wok stir fry..open very late..you'll be amongst the few non-Asians in there..fab!)
-Capriotti's Sandwich Stands(best location is the original on W Sahara right off Strip, but also in most all Station's casinos, and around LV..get 'The Bobbie'..a roast turkey over stuffed dressing with cranapple spread sandwich..Thanksgiving was never so good)

Mon Ami Gabi in Paris is delicious steak. Very reasonably priced for the amazing food. Plus, you can watch the Bellagio fountains while you eat.

They move customers in and out pretty quick, but still get a reservation.

There are tons of great restaurants where you can spend a ton opf money, and generally they are all pretty good.

When you decide you want some good food for cheap, I recommend:

Main Street Station Buffet - it is downtown rather than the strip, but it's worth a trip downtown to eat here and check out the Fremont Street lights. Try the steak and scampi night (THursday, I think)

Capriotti's Sandwich shop - There are a few locations now. The Bobbie, the Capastrami, or the Slaw be Jo (my favorite) will make you slap yo mama. I always go by on the way to the airport and pick up a couple of sandwiches for the trip home and the next day.

Main St has solid food, buffet, and their brewery bar, with it's solid boiled shrimp, sushi, pizza, sandwiches, and wings..all at great happy hour prices..love that place.
