On Friday, we are traveling to Charlotte to meet friends. Any suggestions on local family friendly restaurants? Fine dining is probably not an option as 2 finicky teenagers will be in attendance. Was going to post on Travel Board but a Charlotte dining thread already existed and the only response was Top Golf and Cook Out. Thanks.

Go to the Smoke Pit in Concord. When they run out, they close. It's not a long drive.

Was just there.

Crunkleton was really good. They charge a $10 membership fee, but if you’re from out of town they should wave it.

Optimist Food Hall could be another option for something a little different, especially with teens. Let’s everyone get what they want and is a pretty cool spot. Maybe do lunch there or something.

Thanks to all suggestions. We are actually staying in Spartanburg for a wedding. Only in Charlotte to drop off our son so he can stay the weekend with our friends.
