I will be in Dothan, AL until after the hurricane. Are there any great local eateries that I should visit?

Conestoga is solid no frills steakhouse. Old Mill has solid seafood and steaks. Smokey Joes has good BBQ, particularly the pulled pork sandwiches that are top notch. La Parilla is solid Mexican food. Blue Plate has very good soul food.

Not really much food in Dothan I would term great (Conestoga can be great depending on what kinds of steak you like, I'm a big filet guy so it's a favorite of mine), but there is a fair bit of solid places.

La Parrilla is good mexican food. Hunt's for oysters. But, as someone from BR living in Dothan, the food sucks - chain heavy.
