I will be traveling to N LA for work and looking for recommendations for local places to eat in these areas. My preference is a casual restaurant with decent atmosphere.

Also consider Luigi’s in downtown Arcadia. They have a steak lunch special on Tuesdays. Ribeye, 2 sides, bread, dessert, and a drink for like $13 total. It’s pretty good.

I wouldn't leave Shreveport without eating at Ki, OP. It's wonderful.
