What’s the story behind this? I noticed roux House was vacant for a while and then this sign went up yesterday. Anyone have details?

Neat little design. They should put up drink speacials/drinks of the day up on the sign like they were movie premiers.

I credit Roux House for being the original bar to bring back 3rd street circa 2005. Unfortunately, I don’t feel 3rd Street is the same as it was 8-10 years ago. Anyone else feel the same?

I've always thought the Roux House could be so much more than it was. It had shitty drink selection and did't do much with probably the best patio down 3rd. Also one of the few that still charged a cover I think. I'm happy to see a change. I just hope it's owned by someone that knows how to do it right.

The best patio belongs to Happy's. You just can't see it from the street.

Used to be true. Not anymore. Schlitz on Perkins is still as well as Happy’s. The guys from lava cantina bought roux house, Lucy’s and the downtown Shlitz not all that long ago.
