Not in Redondo Beach and not exactly on the water but *Fishbar* restaurant in Manhattan Beach is cool. I like it.
Take Rosecrans Blvd towards the west and when the road stops its across the street. Several nice places right there.

Redondo has a nice pier area with several restaurants. Too touristy for me.

The best thing about Redondo pier area IMO is Naja's place

Another Manhattan Beach recommendation is the Strand House - fabulous view of the ocean and the sunset.

Go to Tony's on the Pier and go to the upstairs bar that overlooks the water. Order a few Fire Chiefs. You get to keep the glasses if you want. Those things will get you feeling right and the bartenders are awesome.
