Yep. Shrimp & crab gumbo is delicious, and while people for some reason always want to clamor about Darrell’s in Jennings, I’d much rather drive the extra 10 minutes Southeast and grab a shrimp poboy or crab burger from C’est Bon instead.

Darrel’s was a disappointment.
Skimpy meat, hard bread.

Your mileage may vary

I’ve tried Darrel’s twice. No need to ever return, at least not for the sandwiches. I have been told the boiled crawfish and boiled shrimp from the Jennings location is very good, but I haven’t attempted those items yet.

Didn’t realize there were so many of us that frequent the same location. I’m there pretty often. Next time one of you gents go, let me know. I’m always down for a cold beer

Darrell’s boiled seafood is definitely on point but not as good as C’est Bon or Habetz by the interstate.
