Recipe for Fried Halloumi Cheese

I would like to try pan frying some of this stuff. The family loves it as an appetizer and seems to be pretty much they same at every Greek and Lebanese place.
I am guessing hot pan with some extra virgin olive oil and fresh garlic but not sure on other herbs and spices.
Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated.

I pan fry with olive oil and sprinkle with zaatar.
