I eat pretty well. Normally turkey or chicken breast at subway. I know it's not the best, but in comparison it's better than a Big Mac. I hit the New York bagel some also, has a few decent options. Thanks for the suggestions. Too lazy to make my lunch, and not interested in the $4/day savings. I like to get out of the office for a little while

Make a healthy lunch at home and take it to work. That's what I do. It will be a lot healthier and save you A LOT of money in the long run. It has gotten to the point if you want something healthy and decent for lunch you will at least spend $8-$9 a day if you eat out. That adds up!

1. Those aren't 2 of the healthier sandwiches.
2. Eat a 6 inch not a footlong if you are looking for low calorie.
3. You don't eat chips and soda when you are eating healthy. Those two add ons are not required at Subway.

1.Try to pay attention
2. I used those subs, because the poster i was responding to is the one who named them
3. I listed foot long because the poster i responded to gave price for foot long
4. I added drink and chips because the poster I responded to used the term combo

Thanks for posting

1. Don't be a jackass when you are wrong.
2. Pay more attention before chastising others.
3. The dude you were responding to was discussing the value of purchasing those subs over saving money by making his own lunch and was not discussing "reasonably healthy" options.
4. He didn't mention a combo including drinks and chips, he mentioned cold cut combo, which is the name of a sandwich.

Thanks for being wrong.

Who knew this thread would turn into such hostile territory.

Check [link=(Eat This, Not That)]https://eatthis.menshealth.com/home[/link], it's a great guide to eating on the go.

The chargrilled chicken sandwich is super healthy @ 260 cal.

I sometimes do the veggie sandwich is very healthy and tasty. I throw on some of the fat free honey mustard which is pretty good IMO.
