Another great use of a sous vide. I have a large container, Set the sous vide on 75, in just a few hours its completely thawed. I've done this with 12-14 lb birds.
We seldom take anything to thaw for dinner earlier than 4pm, unless its a big roast. The SV is quick.

Someone will certainly come along and make a joke about cranking the temp up and leaving it sous vide to be ready for Thanksgiving.
I do the same to defrost things too, I've frozen whole meals, even bbq meats and just reheat it with the sous vide, works great.

Well, I don’t have a sous vide so I just take it out and put it in the fridge 3 days before I want to dry brine.

Put it in a fryer, thaws quick quick
