Question about cooking a roast?

So, last night I put all the things together to cook a roast for dinner tonight in the crock pot. The crock pot is in the fridge and all the ingredients are ready to go, just needs to be turned on. I left home this morning and forgot to get the roast out of the fridge and put it on. I have plans tomorrow night.
Does the board think it would be fine to transfer all the ingredients (roast, carrots, beef broth, can of cream of mushroom, etc.) to a big arse ziplock and leave it in the fridge and cook on Sunday. It has been refrigerated the whole time.

I see no problem with that. It's been refrigerated the whole time.

I'm confused. Why can't you just leave it as is in the crock pot in the fridge until you are ready to cook it?
Either way, if all perishables have stayed in the fridge, I don't see an issue.

Yeah, I don't get why you'd bother with the whole Ziplock song and dance.

This is the answer

Thanks. And the whole crockpot in the fridge is already pissing the wife off taking up so much room and having to take it in and out. So that’s the reason for the ziplock. I’ll stick it in a drawer.

Tell your wife to calm down

Well she’s pregnant with our first child so she gets a pass for right now..

Just because she’s pregnant you don’t get to be her punching bag

As long as all of the contents of the crock pot/ zip bag come to a minimal internal temperature of 165°F, you should be fine.

Man up and tell her to get over it...

Bruh, never ever do this.
