Went on a quail shoot earlier this week and have plenty of quail breasts. Anyone have a good recipe or ideas for preparing them? I was planning to fry a couple and wrap a couple in bacon and put on grill. Any other suggestions?

We love them just seasoned and grilled
Who / where did you go shoot them with?

Had a friend that would go out and shoot dozens of them and bring them to me already cleaned and I'd make a nice pot of quail sauce piquant and send a good bit of it back to him and that was a hit.
Like already mentioned, bacon wrapped and grilled.

Only breasts? Those little legs are delicious.

Went Wednesday to a guided hunt in poplarville ms. Colleague from work set it up as a group activity. Had an awesome time, shot over 4 boxes of shells and the 3 in my group bagged 75 quail. They had a pheasant hunt out there the day before so got 1 of them too. I think the place was called crane creek shooting preserve. Highly recommend it
