Grits try a tablespoon of coconut oil in the morning.
I did, it's alright but the texture is strange.

quote:Team Keto, checking in.
A lot of guys here are on a keto diet, including myself. Google is your friend, I'm driving.
After 14 months, finally reached my original goal weight.
303/220.6/220
I dropped from 303 to 230 relatively easy in 6 months, then hovered between 225-230 for 6 months. Decided to give "carb nite solution" a try, and did 5-6 weeks with a carb nite, in which my weight drifted up to 228-229 from its 225-226 norm. After switching back to standard keto a couple weeks ago, the weight has started to move again. I'd say the shake-up with the carbs was successful in hitting the reset button on my body, restoring leptin, ghrelin and whatever other things that happen when you put your body in a caloric deficit for too long.
New goal -> 200.

159/156.5/150
I drank Saturday, Sunday , and Monday eating Chinese food both Sunday and Monday night. Tuesday I had shot up to 162 due to the carbs and excess sodium. Doing a fast from 10 yesterday morning to 10 this morning. This morning was down to 156.5.

Rohan people hold weight in different areas. People still give me a hard time about the 32's thing from like seven years ago but I lost over 40 pds and only went down a couple pants sizes.

Yeah I suppose I just gained the weight and it got evenly distributed. Is that a thing? At least it didn't just all go to my stomach or chin

I wore a 42 when I was 313...borderline 44 waist pants.
right now I'm wearing 36's at my current weight. The biggest difference is that I can pull my pants up to where they belong now and they don't get stuck at my hips/asscrack because my gut is in the way.
Some of the 36's are getting a little lose though now, but they're gonna have to make do for a while until I save up more on the clothing budget.

So I'm reading this book by Bill pearl and he says the Billy cannon and his 1959 lsu teammates were some of the pioneers of using weight training to improve their athletic performance. Anyone ever heard this before?
