I havent weighed in 8 days, missed 5 days of workouts and wont weigh til Fri. I think yall are nuts for weighing around a holiday, guess its a double edge sword. Got back on the cardio and low carb, actually managed some low carb days during the holidays.Think I'll make a big push for Xmas and be good on the weekends. Trying to be close to 195 by then

As it was, it took me until Sunday to get back to work when the scale hit me with 10 pounds since Thursday morning. If I hadn't been weighing-in, I probably would have continued eating a few more days.
Dropped two pound this morning which is a surprise because I went overboard with salty food yesterday. I figured I might even gain weight after eating about 4000 mgs of sodium.

4 of the 10 pounds have dropped off. I figured about half the gain was water and half was real weight gain so I think the easy loss is done.

Just met CT and her daughter in Biloxi and we ate at a buffet. I was down to 202 earlier today (my lowest weight yet). I got a feeling that has gone upward in the past few hours.

Atkins done kicked in hard this morning. 4 pound loss.
I'm not sure I believe it until I see it again tomorrow.

I think I figured out my problem with Atkins in November.
I think I was WAY over the carb limit. I switched from Splenda back to Sweet N Low and I added a no sugar vanilla flavored creamer to my morning coffee.
When I added up all the carbs associated with the creamer and sweet N low, I was chowing down on 10 to 20 carbs a day just drinking my coffee.
So I am back to just one packet of splenda per cup and only one cup a day with the creamer which keeps me under 20 carbs total for the day.
