All right. You’re in this thread. What are your goals? Let’s make some shite happen. My goal this year is to be able to run two miles without stopping.
Net: what are your goals? Lose 10 lbs?
Trying to make it somewhat on topic.

Goals just lead to disappoint
My goal is to get a healthy lifestyle and not piss it all away after a few months of progress

Play tennis. Not even that much. Once or so. Maybe walk 9 holes at some point.
I’m keeping the bar set low. That way I don’t get all bent out of shape. Which, when you’re already out of shape, sucks.

Those goals seem doable. Gonna be my mixed doubles partner this summer?

I have decided to go to the beach during Spring Break as a relaxer from the Future Felons of America also. So Choo Choo MF'ers. Y'all gonna get me going in right direction again?

I’m headed to walk/jog a few miles. My hip flexors are kinda sore today from running Monday, but good sore. I’m determined to make running a thing.

Do it, guh
You have a rolling log thing for stretching?

Just finished. Yay! It felt easier today, so I went faster.
I do have a foam roller. I need to be more diligent about using it. When I walk in my neighborhood, I do stretching & yoga immediately after, and it minimizes soreness. When I go to a park like I’ve done this week, I don’t stretch as thoroughly after. Not trying to downward dog in public. I need to figure out a better solution.

Having this thread pinned next to a king cake thread is no bueno. I effectively forget king cake exists til I see that thread.

The best thing about living in this god forsaken state of Arkansas they do not know what King Cake is when I am trying to lose again.

For some reason, I had it in my head you lived in Missouri. I suppose AR is pretty close.
I'd never heard of king cake before moving to Louisiana. I'm kind of meh about cinnamon, so it took me awhile to appreciate typical king cake. I want to try the Maurice's one Net posted in the king cake thread. It looks like exactly what I'd like.
On topic: thighs are sore AF today. I have tennis tonight, so I'm not running again til tomorrow. Should give me enough time to recover.

I do not like king cake, so it's not a temptation for me. Well, the only exception I've had for that is a good arse donut king cake from Mikey's in Opelousas. That is some good stuff. But regular king cake is just not very good to me.
I'm doing very well with Whole30. Started at 281 on 1/2/18, and was 275 this morning. I'm using Avatar for macro adjustments (I have my slider cranked over to high fats) so I'm using the same caloric intake I would otherwise, but weight is just dropping off. I'm not quite sure what exactly the difference is, but I believe the lack of alcohol is helping things go smoothly. In general I feel better, not as tired all the time. I'm interested in slowly adding things back into my diet after whole30 to see if I can pinpoint issues. I have a hunch it's either alcohol or grains.. or both.
