Some people mix a little salt with the coffee grounds before brewing to cut down on the bitterness

Yes! I definitely notice. Half a packet of sugar might not be noticeable, but half a Splenda is. And if I use a whole packet, it’s too sweet.

I drink hot coffee black and cold coffee with a little skim milk. It’s definitely better with sugar but it’s not really worth it.
