Has anyone purchased from the online sites? Wooden Cork, Nestor, Bourbon Central, etc.

Just curious if these sites are legit. They seem to have about everything, you just have to be willing to pay a large shipping amount.

I've ordered Scotch online from a few different retailers. Everything came well packaged. Finding a retailer that ships to Louisiana was the hardest part.

Yes, the big ones are legit. Just know that if you see a deal that seems too good to be true, then it likely is. Otherwise, I haven't had any issues with ordering online.

The most annoying part is that some states won't ship to Louisiana.

I've used Wooden Cork several times on Blanton's and had no problem. Their prices, plus shipping, were pretty high, but I needed the bottles for gifts. It came wrapped well and no breakage. Didn't take long either.

I'll piggyback this thread instead of creating a new one.

Anyone know any secondary market sites? I have two Weller Full Proof and an Antique that I doubt I will ever get around to drinking.

I was a member of a bourbon group here in Colorado a few years ago, so got them as part of that. I have pretty much quit drinking in the last couple of years as it ruins my sleep.

I have ordered from Allocated Outlet twice. First time I ordered 4 bottles and they all came very well packaged. Second time was recent and still came well packaged and only took ~5 days.

Their prices are almost secondary but not quite and it's BTAC
