Academy already has some of the lowest cost pots, so this is a good deal. Don't pass it up if you are looking for a second pot or upgrade to a bigger one.

I say this, because the Academy by my house was selling the 100qt and double jet combo for $129 in stores this weekend

That double jet burner / pot package is out of stock and that burner only puts out 100,000 BTU's, which is pretty weak compared to my bayou classic single jet that puts out 185,000 BTU's. Maybe the academy double jet just needs a better PSI regulator, but there's no mention of the regulator on their website. Bayou Classic double jet puts out over 200,000 BTUs.

I did see the combo deal before I bought this. I probably would have just bought a $20 30 psi regulator and and it would have been a great deal. Unfortunately it's out of stock, and you almost break even if you pay retail in store for the combo and switch out the regulator.
ETA: some of the reviews for the burner are not so great, so I'd exercise caution getting the combo. They still have the 80 qt combo in stock.

For $25 more, I would get the 100qt in stainless. Still might. Thanks for the coupon.
