Latest to play the trick - Blue Plate mayonnaise. No longer a full quart.

Baken-ets pork skins were the ones I have noticed recently. I hadn't bought them in a while and when I saw the bag I thought "Wow, they sell them in two sizes now." Nope, just one smaller size for the same price.

But, in reality I think a lot of products have shrunk in size. Campbell's soup and frito's corn chips. At least they both shrunk so the cans to bags ratio still work in recipes without too much if any adjustment.

I noticed 2 of them at about the same time - tuna gradually transitioned from 7 oz to 5 oz over a few years. And then Dial soap started going into a concave design, which reduced them about 60%.

You know that Starkist got hit with a class action a few years ago for labeling 7oz and containing 5oz though, right? The labeling change may just be a truth in Advertising reaction to what was really happening anyway.

I noticed when I picked up a bag for a quick casserole that required shredded cheddar that some of the 2 cup bags have been reduced to 1 and 7/8.
