I’ve had mine for about 6 months and I’ve done about 5 long cooks (brisket, ribs, etc) and I’m getting about 100 degree fluctuation every time. For instance, this morning I set it at 225 and ive seen it jump to 330 and also down to 165.

Anyone have this issue? If so, possible solutions?

Did you try to unplug it and plug it back in?

It was funny. Maybe you should try saying it out loud.

I bet the vents are clogged up. Stick a butter knife in the vents on the lid. Could have excess buildup inside that needs cleaning as well.

Did you clean the ash out of the bottom of the pit prior to cooking? I find with my 700 that if I don't vacuum out the ash every other cook, I have slight temperature problems.

Yeah give them a call. You may have a bad controller. I’ve got a bull and haven’t had an issue in three years with it.
