Probable unpopular opinion round here but The Crab Chip> Crawtators

Born and raised in South Louisiana but the flavor of the crab chip is much better than Zapps Crawtator. Just wish Utz would make them thick cut kettle cooked like Zapps. Don't they own zapps now? They should make it a thing

They do. They probably use the crawtater recipe to make the other chip.

It's basically Old Bay seasoning. Herr's has the license to use Old Bay on potato chips, and they make a thick kettle chip like Zapp's with the Old Bay on it.
So basically, the chip you're looking for exists, it's just not Zapps/Utz who makes it.
FYI, I been loving the Utz crab chips for a good 20 years now ever since I took a trip to Baltimore and had a bag. As soon as Utz bought Zapps I figured it was a no brainer to make crab chip Zapps. Guess I was wrong.
I don't know if they have Ollie's closeout stores where you are, but they always have the Herr's Old Bay kettle chips.
So basically, the chip you're looking for exists, it's just not Zapps/Utz who makes it.
